Meeting between the Representatives of the Airport and the Representatives of Airline Companies

A meeting was held at the Sarajevo International Airport between the representatives of the Airport and the numerous airline companies operating from the Sarajevo Airport. The topic of the meeting was the migration away from the existing HP DCS system for control of departures of airplanes, passengers and objects onto the new system Res2/Iport DCS.
This system uses computers to automatically complete the passenger data required to check in for flights, and it processes the actions related to printing of boarding cards, receipt and sorting of luggage, boarding of passengers and the accompanying actions. The transfer onto this system is an extremely complex task and it is a strategic step towards the modernization of operations at the Sarajevo International Airport.
The transition onto the new system will significantly increase the efficiency of the Airport in its principal processes and will additionally enhance the level and quality of services provided by the Sarajevo International Airport to its business partners and clients.
